With the rising spire-like summits of the Dolomites as your home mountains and surrounded by a culture of ski racing and climbing, it’s hardly surprising Arianna has become such a tour-de-force skier. She started skiing at the tender age of three with her parents and it wasn’t long before she began racing. But if you spend just a few minutes with Ari, you’ll understand why she didn’t stay within the confines of racing for long.
Free-spirited and somewhat rebellious, by 16 she discovered her true passion lay in the steep faces, power fields and jibby forests on the off-piste side of the mountains. By 2012 she was competing and winning freeride competitions, and in 2015 she qualified for the Freeride World Tour, taking third place in her first year on the tour in 2016.
Fast-forward to 2018 and she stood atop the FWT podium in first place and went on to repeat this feat in 2019 and again in 2020, with her signature playful freeriding and always pushing harder and jumping bigger.
Arianna loves to push herself outside of her comfort zone, something she’s recently experienced with rock climbing and that continues drawing her back to surfing. She lives her Never Stop Exploring life to the full and wants to combine competing with filming and travelling to see where it all could take her.
