Victor grew up in a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees, the youngest of five. His older brothers and sister had switched from skis to snowboards and Victor wanted to do the same. He got his first snowboard when he was six and by the time he was 11 he ditched skis 100% to focus full-time on snowboarding. He competed at boardercross for a while but preferred being in the park so he then tried slopestyle. But there was still something missing. He followed his older siblings into the backcountry and that’s where Victor really came alive, putting his speed and creativity to good use.
Initially he focused on filming, with Frozen Mind being a standout moment for him. But by 2019 he wanted a new challenge. Enter, the Freeride World Tour. Following in the footsteps of big brother Xavier – and they’re some pretty big boots to fill – Victor didn’t hold back. He won his first year, came second in 2020 and returned to the top of the podium in 2021.
However, Victor is also a skilled climber and paraglider and his future plans extend far beyond the Freeride World Tour. He wants to combine all his passions – which all happily playout in the mountains – to do bigger adventures. He wants to film more, explore bigger mountains, more remote locations and combo-adventures closer to home, mixing all his skills into one trip.
